Wind Dancer Travel
Let’s see where the wind takes your travels.
This Is My Story
Is it the Pacific Northwest, Nags Head, NC, coastal Maine - nope, it's beautiful Lake Michigan in Racine, WI.
I first fell in love with travel at the age of 12. My Dad was being transferred from Michigan to Indiana and we would stay in a hotel so he could check on our new house being built. It was the first time I saw an indoor mini putt-putt golf course along with an indoor pool. It even had a bridge over the pool, making it even more quaint. Now of course, this is nothing new, but back then it was magical to me, even staying in the hotel was pure joy to me. And I've been loving travel ever since.
How the name came to be....I lived in Seattle for a short time and there was a club you could join of boat owners, for those of us who didn't have boats. So, my friend and I joined and we were out one day and I saw one boat with the name 'Wave Dancer'. And it seemed fitting as the waves make your boat dance. I loved the name. And when my husband Joe and I moved to our latest house, it was extremely windy in the area. We had never experienced anything like it before, not to this extreme. So, I dubbed our house 'Wind Dancer Cottage'. And upon thinking of a name for my travel agency it just came to me 'Wind Dancer Travel'. I love dancing and I love traveling even more, and I feel the wind picks you up and can take you to wherever you want to go.
Speaking of where you want to go, let me plan your dream vacation. No such thing as too big or too small – all travel counts and should be enjoyed.
I have been fortunate enough to have enjoyed all my trips but one (but I won’t say where as I love the state – smile, smile), whether we splurged on an oceanfront balcony room, a trip to Hawaii or enjoyed a cabin on a budget, even bringing our own food, I was fond of them all for various reasons. A teacher once said to me ‘no wonder you’re having a hard time choosing a major (in college) because you’re interested in so many things. And that is so true, especially when it comes to travel and dining out. I also love to give tips on restaurants in the area where you will be visiting as Joe and I love to eat out and we’re big foodies, it’s a big passion of mine. Top Chef anyone?
So please feel free to call me, send me an email or shoot me a text and let me plan your next dream getaway. And let's see where the wind takes your travels.

Absolutely beautiful
I thought our hotel at the Hilton Garden Inn was absolutely beautiful. My husband and I both enjoy things from the past and we felt like we were walking back in time with all of the beautiful architecture. Even the stairwell was picture worthy. And yet they had all the modern amenities you need while staying in a hotel. We did not get to try the on-site restaurant but we noticed they had very good reviews.
Very emotional
These pictures made me feel like what it was like back in those days, as if I was stepping back in time.

I'm very impressed with the city of Milwaukee. They have tons of beautiful, well kept historic buildings.
